We are a group of local gardeners who get together monthly for education, service and socializing.

We have classes on a wide variety of gardening topics from landscaping and growing the best flowers / vegetables to bee keeping and water conservation.

Whether you’re a long time gardener or just getting started we welcome you to join us!

2019 Tomato Days Dine Around @ Varies

Participating restaurants for provide a delicious heirloom tomato-themed dish to support our work to empower people of all ages and incomes to grow and eat healthy, organic, local food. Wasatch Community Gardens received nearly $5,000.00 from these restaurants during the 2018 Dine-Around.

Introduction to Localscapes @ Conservation Garden Park

If you’re overwhelmed trying to install or improve your landscape, this introductory Localscapes class will expose you to the best way to landscape in Utah. Ready to increase the usability and curb appeal of your yard while decreasing your yard work?

This class is an overview of Localscapes and is recommended before you attend Localscapes University.

Localscapes University @ Conservation Garden Park

You’re ready to take on a landscape project but not sure where to start: this 3-hour course will teach you the Localscapes method that will simplify the process. Included is training in irrigation, planting, and maintenance that will help you design a gorgeous yard that saves you time and money.

To get the most out of this class, attend Introduction to Localscapes first, but it isn’t required.

2019 Tomato Sandwich Party @ Grateful Tomato Garden

Immersive Learning: Fall Landscaping @ Conservation Garden Park

New for 2019! Immersive Learning classes are action-oriented and take place in the Conservation Garden Park. Learn through observation as our expert staff teach landscaping techniques and activities by demonstrating how the work is best accomplished. Plan to be outdoors and come prepared to ask questions.

Fall Gardening: Learn which end-of-season landscaping tasks are the most important and the best way to accomplish them.

Tips for Attracting and Retaining Beneficial Insects to Your Yard @ Red Butte Garden

Biological control (or biocontrol) is the beneficial action of predators, parasites, and pathogens in managing pests and preventing their damage to plants. Natural biocontrol may provide several benefits such as an alternative to pesticides and therefore a reduction in pesticide use, saving costs, etc.

Localscapes Irrigation Workshop @ Conservation Garden Park
